Re-founded in 2008, the Tampa Bay Rowdies are a North American Soccer League (NASL) team that plays its home games in St. Petersburg, Florida. Originally created in 1975, the Rowdies folded in 1993 and were revived as a USL First Division expansion team in 2009. The Rowdies won the NASL Championship and Ponce De Leon Cup in 2012.
